I am also partial to Dresden Files

My character there has an issue with the guy who runs the pizza joint!

I just dont think that without brandon and even with the superbly evil tom running that we can get the same "attitude" for the game. I partially say this because Tom is a bit more knowledgeable about the background, partially that we are missing the books Brandon was running out of (invasion or not [RT], he supplemented with alot of non 40k sci fi books.) and I didnt want to say this, but I think that weve built up the RT game in our minds a bit, there was alot of downtime that I recall while Brandon flipped through the books, and even though we had fun moments, I always felt that they were fewer inbetween then say, Dragonage (Sniper gets married, Twue Wove!) Farscape, (A wall, i wonder what happens if I drive into it!) or even the FATE based Games! (Freedomm!!!, Fusion reactor)

True, we might be shooting for the unattainable.

Well I have the car tonight (won't be there till 730-745) I will toss in RT, Dragon Age, and a few other items. (One Ring RPG, Dungeon World, Pathfinder...)

Of course we could just play RT using Starblazers rules... Would be VERY easy to make our characters and ship in that system... And we pretty much played very abstractly before anyway.
